While many people claim to know the value of exercise, I have to wonder how much they take that to heart. I know, its hard to get out and exercise every day, some people seem to get into the habit of missing the gym on a regular basis. Getting in regular exercise, really is a matter of habit. You have to get into the routine of going, and stick with the new routine for an extended period of time. At least a year I would say. I don’t know where I’d be if I couldn’t work out at least four or five times a week. Actually, I do know where I’d be, and it’s not a pretty place.
I used to be pretty sloppy with my exercise routine, but I’ve found a few tricks that keep me going. You need to find some physical activity that your really passionate about. You don’t have to be good at it, but some kind of sport is a good idea. If you can incorporate your physical activity into a fun game, sport, social, team based activity then your more likely to stick with it. Then find a few regular workout routines that support that sporting game you enjoy playing. That way everything you do from a workout perspective has a goal.
