You can add a third glass, five minutes before lunch and a fourth, five minutes before dinner. However, as you realized, there are no fixed rules on how to manage a fruit and vegetable juice diet, we choose the quantity and type of juice depending on their body.

There is a large range of juicer recipes, and there are specific juices for specific problems, for example there are juices that help you get rid of cellulite. However, note that certain “hard” juices (cabbage, carrot, celery, lemon, onion, etc…) are not tolerated by sensitive stomachs.

Fruit and vegetable juices: necessary precautions

Beware of acidic fruit juices stored in galvanized metal vessels. The contact between the fruit acid and the zinc covering the walls of the vessels result in a somewhat toxic salt. By swallowing the salt, you risk fever and digestive disorders (nausea, vomiting). Drink the juice immediately after preparation, so that the vitamins and minerals are not subject to any oxygenation or to the action of the surrounding heat.

If you prefer beauty and health recipes, prepare juices in a glass, pottery or porcelain vessels. The pulp and the juice of fruit and vegetable can alter significantly in contact with metal.
